These reprinted postcards depict typical scenery of Richfield Springs during the early 1900's. There are four different motifs.The first card is showing the Earlington Hotel with arriving guests in horse carriages. | ||||
| The second image shows Theodore Roosevelt speaking from the Earlington Hotel balcony to the public. He and his family used to own estates in this area and his support is still evident in the beautiful and historic Jordanville library, 10 min driving distance from Richfield Springs. |

The third motif is showing the town symbol of Richfield, the clock. This clock used to be in the center of Rt. 20, but was moved by the town due to heavy traffic. | ||||
| The fourth image shows the old Music Stand in Richfield Springs, NY, which is still in existence, the second is showing Theodore Roosevelt. |

| Richfield was the most popular and well known resort in
Upstate NY during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Many, including the
Roosevelt family, came to use the Sulphur water and Spas in Richfield
and the surrounding areas. Rich Spa LLC reprinted these postcards for one purpose only, to bring back the nostalgic value of Historic Richfield Springs. We want to make it possible to send a piece of history out in the world to your friends or family. |
